For over a decade, Danielle Shulkin has worked as a Learning Specialist, Instructional Coach, and Director of Teaching and Learning at leading independent and international schools including The Collegiate School in New York City and The Town School for Boys in San Francisco. In these roles she has analyzed hundreds of neuropsychological evaluations, built learning support programs from the ground up, trained faculty and families on neurodiversity and inclusive education, and worked directly with students whose profiles ranged from twice-exceptional to significantly impacted by ADHD, dyslexia, executive functioning challenges, and other learning differences.

Her work extends well beyond New York. She designed and delivered teacher training programs in Panama's indigenous communities as a Peace Corps Volunteer. She has built learning support infrastructure at an international school in West Africa, created and led professional development workshops for new teachers in Bangladesh, envisioned and spearheaded a global peer mentorship program for educators around the world, and developed IEP assessment resources for Goalbook, which serves over 700 school districts in the United States. Her interactive, personalized professional development programs have been highly regarded across the U.S., Africa, Latin America, and South Asia.

These international experiences are not incidental to her work; they fundamentally shape how she thinks about learning, families, and schools. Having worked across cultures, languages, and resource contexts, she brings a perspective on neurodiversity and learning that few specialists in New York can offer.

Danielle works with individual students and families looking for academic support in New York City and virtually across the US. She also works with schools and districts across the world in both virtual and in-person formats to strengthen their Learning Support programs.
